Because the symptoms of dementia arise from ac-quired brain dysfunction, they are highly individual and diverse. In this study, we constructed patient experience (PX) spacesthat allows care workers in nursing and caregiving settingsto participant-informed approximation such as hallucinations. Through a real-time co-creation process with people living withdementia (PwD), we examine whether their narratives can bereproduced more accurately within a shorter timeframe. Ourcontribution is thus a proof-of-process and a set of design insightsfor participant-informed PX construction, rather than evidence of generalizable clinical or educational efficacy.
